Important: Cancellation policy
Poparide has a cancellation policy to ensure fairness for both passengers and drivers. Review the Passenger Cancellation Policy to understand the conditions before cancelling your booking as a passenger.
1. Go to your trip
Open the Poparide app or website and navigate to the trip you‘ve booked on from the Trips page.
2. Go to the booking settings
Tap on the banner below the trip details (e.g., "Booking requested" or "Booking approved") to access the booking settings.
3. Cancel or withdraw the booking
Scroll down the screen and select Withdraw booking or Cancel booking, depending on your situation. Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.
What happens after you cancel?
Refund eligibility:
You’ll be issued an automatic refund according to our Passenger Cancellation Policy depending on the time of your cancellation.
If your booking was late cancelled, you’ve already received an automatic refund in line with our Passenger Cancellation Policy. If you believe you’re eligible for a full refund, please reach out to our Support Team. While we carefully review every request, we can’t guarantee that a full refund can be granted for late cancellations.
Notify the driver: When you cancel, the driver will be automatically notified, so you don’t need to message them directly.
Important:
Cancellations are only available to confirmed bookings on trips that haven’t departed. If your trip has departed please refer to: How to request a refund on your booking as a passenger.
