If a driver cancels your trip, you’re eligible for a 100% refund—including the booking fee. Here’s how refunds work depending on the situation:
The driver cancels through Poparide
If the driver cancels the trip through Poparide, you’ll receive a notification of the cancellation, and we’ll automatically process a full refund to your payment method.
The refund is initiated immediately on our end, but it may take 5-10 business days for your bank to process it.
A receipt will be issued in our app and sent to you by email.
If you don’t see the refund on your statement within 10 business days, please get in touch with your bank for more information. More info
The driver didn’t cancel through Poparide
If the driver tells you they’ve cancelled the trip but hasn’t done so through Poparide, ask them to cancel the booking directly on the platform. This is the only way for you to receive a refund before departure.
If the trip has already departed and the driver hasn’t officially cancelled, you can request a refund through the Poparide app within 4 days of the trip’s scheduled departure.
Beyond 4 days after the trip has departed, it’s not possible to receive a refund.
