⚠️ Important: phishing attack

Last updated November 20, 2024

We're experiencing a distributed phishing attack on Poparide, where bad actors are asking for credit cards by sending messages in the Poparide chat. Never share your credit card in chat, and report any profiles asking for your credit card information.

Our team is working to increase security measures to prevent this, and we'll update this page with any new information.

To keep everyone safe on Poparide, always make payments through the Poparide platform. Never pay for a booking outside the app or website.

Identifying scams

Scammers may ask you to message outside the platform and send links for external payments. Always refuse such offers and report the scammer immediately through the Poparide app.

Verifying legitimate websites

A legitimate Poparide link uses "https://" and includes "poparide.com". Beware of slight variations in the URL or requests for additional personal details, which indicate phishing attempts.

If you’re unsure, always return to the Poparide app or website and use the official booking system. We will never ask you to send money outside of Poparide.
