Blocking other members

This article explains how to block someone on Poparide and what happens when you do.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you don’t want to interact with a specific member on Poparide, you can block them. Blocking another member ensures they can’t contact you or book with you in the future.

What happens when you block someone?

When you block a member, they will not be able to:

  • View your profile

  • Message you

  • See you trips (if you are a driver)

  • Book with you (if you are a driver)

  • Invite you to a trip (if you are a passenger)

If you have existing or pending bookings with them, they will automatically be cancelled when you block them.

Blocking is a private action, meaning the blocked member won’t be notified that you have blocked them.

How to block a member

To block someone:

  1. Go to their profile in the Poparide app.

  2. Tap the “Report” button in the top right corner.

  3. Select the “Block” option.

    1. If you select the “Report” option, you will also be able to block them after you report them.

You can unblock a member at any time by following the same steps.

Please note that our blocking feature is only available on our app, and not on our website.
