We are required by Stripe, our payout provider, to verify your ID once we have sent you over $2,000 in payouts; this is a regulatory measure imposed to Stripe by Government to prevent fraud and money laundering.
To get verified, please send us a colour copy of the front and back of your driver's license through our contact form.
When we send a payout to your bank account, we use Stripe, an online payment platform which has to comply to certain regulations imposed on them by Government (more info at https://stripe.com/docs/connect/identity-verification)
One of these regulatory conditions is to verify your ID when you have received more than $2,000 in payouts into your bank account. When this occurs, Stripe puts a hold on your payouts and requests that we provide them with a colour copy of the front and back of your ID.
To resolve this, we will need you to send us a copy of your ID to submit it to Stripe for verification. Once Stripe verifies it (it usually takes an hour), payouts to your bank will resume as usual in the evening.
We also let you receive payouts using PayPal and PayPal have their own process which currently does not require any ID verifications.
