We recommend giving your driver or passenger a quick phone call if they are not responding as members don't always have access to the Internet while on the road.
Where do I find a member's phone number?
You can find a member's phone number in the trip booking details or the SMS text message we sent you with the booking confirmation.
Please give members time to respond as people do not always have consistent access to their phones or cannot respond to your calls or messages while behind the wheel.
What should I do if I don't have a member's phone number?
You will only have access to another member's phone number if you have an approved booking with them.
Passengers: If you have requested a booking with a driver and they are not responding, you can withdraw your booking at no charge and try to book with another driver. Please note that drivers with low response rates will be suspended from Poparide.
Drivers: If you have received a booking from a passenger and they are not responding to your messages, you can decline the booking. If you hear back from the passenger, they'll be able to book with you again.
Preventing communication problems
To avoid last minute communication problems, we recommend confirming the trip details with the driver or passenger well before the trip departs.
