There are two key differences between Pop and Uber:
- Uber drivers are employed by Uber and earn a wage to drive people on demand. Pop drivers fill empty seats in their cars on existing journeys to cover the costs of their trip, and they are already driving somewhere.
- Uber operates inside the city in real-time, much like a taxi. Pop helps people organize medium to long-distance trips between cities, usually a few days in advance.
Tip: you can use Uber to get to the pickup location for your Pop trip, or to get home from your Pop drop-off location.
