In general, passengers aren’t expected to help with driving. If you’re looking to share driving, you will need to:
Communicate upfront: If you want your passengers to help drive, write this clearly in your trip description. Confirm with your passengers that they’re comfortable with driving before approving their booking.
Check licenses and insurance: If your passengers agree to drive, make sure they have a valid driver’s license and that your vehicle insurance covers them as drivers.
Take regular breaks: Even if you're sharing driving on a long trip, we recommend taking breaks every 3 hours or 200 miles to stay rested and alert.
